Lady Chargers opened season 1-2 at Pasadena

Pasadena, CA - Day 1: The Chargers got in early foul trouble and could not recover before losing to Citrus 67-54. Sam Soria led all Chargers with 13 points.

Day 2: The Chargers bounced back from Day 1 to defeat Taft 82-48. Sloan Turner and Jeana Magana led the scoring with 13 points each.

Day 3: The Chargers played the home team Pasadena in an intense matchup. The game was tied 24-24 at the half. Soria had 16 points to lead the team. Magane added 13. Chelsea Walton's 3 steals and 4 assists kept the Chargers close before losing 58-52.

Lady Chargers went 2-1 at Merced Tourney

Merced, CA  - Day 1 and 2: Yesterday, the Lady Chargers lost to Santa Rosa 44-51. They played hard and aggressive but a few turn overs at the end lost it for the chargers. Sam soria had 14 points. Chargers come back with fire! Ready to play merced. Charger win 51-46! Played with a lot of intensity! Sam 10 pts. Jeana 14 pt. Sloan had 8 pts, 4 offensive rebounds and 7 defensive rebounds. Beth, jeana and sam gave momentum to the chargers with a charge! And erika gave the chargers momentum with a key 3 pointer. 

Day 3: Cypress beat Consumnes River 60-51 to win the Consolation Championships. Sam Soria was named to the All-Tourney with 8 points and 4 assists. Chelsea Walton was a huge leader today on the floor vocally and had 6 assists and 7 steals. Sloan Turner had 12 points and 5 blocks, Doree Lopez added 8 points and 3 steals.
